Hi @luca222,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out to HP Support. We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing screen issues such as halos and burned pixels on your HP PC, and we understand how frustrating this can be.

HP designs its displays to meet high standards of quality and durability. However, over time and with extended use, certain image retention effects—such as halos or pixel persistence—can occur, especially if static images are displayed for long periods.

🛠 Recommended Steps:

  1. Perform a Display Test
Please run a full display diagnostics test using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics:
    • Restart the PC and press F2 repeatedly at startup.
    • Select Component Tests > Display and run the test.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, as it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
