HP Recommended

i got a used hp probook 6560b from ebay it has linux on it and i will be putting win10 on it but when i got it the screen has what looks like if you took a pc of paper and tried to scratch out something on the paper like a name or a sentence i kind of think it is not reparable but it never hurts to ask it could be the board or the screen or maybe a cable going to the screen. i can take it apart and check but before i lose my return window by messing around i figure a good question may have some repairs in the answers.  i'm not holding out for the miracle but hey someone here may have had this issue and did something to fix it even it it is a screen or cable maybe a motherboard.

edit

oh forgot to say the screen when off has those line in it so it kind of looks like it has a damaged screen. i did not know this on the first post so it may be non repairable.
