Hi all,
I have multiple HP laptops but I guess I am learning that their hinges are really bad. This is my second HP x360 that landed with a broken hinge and just this time it also caused the screen to crack. I called up the repair (it is under warranty) and they asked me to send it in. After keeping the laptop for six days and telling me that the laptop has been repaired and under testing, I got a message today that this is customer induced damage. No further information is shared.
I need help in dealing with the situation. I have photos of the laptop before I sent it. Clearly the screen broke at the hinge point and that too it came out. I don't think HP wants to tell me that I somehow pulled out the screen. Also other than this, I do not have a single scratch on the laptop.
I know this forum is to solve other operating issues but I am hoping someone with similar experience may be able to help on how to get HP to honor their warrenty.
