horizontal line

For some reason I have a horizontal line on my laptop screen (the line is between the middle of the screen but a bit more to the top). Sometimes it glitches I guess but I can still use the laptop for example I can type and play games perfectly fine except the fact that the screen has lines a underneath the line so its unclear to see. It also flickers and when I not use the laptop for a while it doesn't have the horizontal lines beneath the horizontal line sometimes but then after a few minutes the lines underneath the horizontal line come back and flickers then stops and stays like that for a while

Hi @ii23,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
