Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a program (Moonbase Commander ) that runs at 640x480 resolution, he resolution on my OMEN only goes down to 800x600, so the  program displays very small. I want it to display it bigger as it is one of my favorite games.

Hi @Neil087,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To display a program with a 640x480 resolution bigger on an HP Omen, you can try the following steps.

  • Right-click on the program's shortcut or executable file and select "Properties."
  • Click on the "Compatibility" tab.
  • Check the box that says "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:" and select "Application" from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on "Apply" and then "OK."
  • Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings."
  • Scroll down to "Scale and layout" and increase the scaling percentage until the program appears bigger on the screen. You may need to experiment with different scaling percentages to find the right one for your needs.

Note that increasing the scaling percentage may make text and images appear blurry, so you may need to adjust other display settings to improve the overall visual quality.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
