Hi @kira34
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I'm here to help with HP products and services. If you're using an HP computer running Windows, you can utilize the built-in Windows feature called "Xbox Game Bar" to screen record.
Here's how you can do it:
Using Xbox Game Bar for Screen Recording
Open Xbox Game Bar:
- Press the Windows key + G on your keyboard to open the Xbox Game Bar overlay.
Access the Capture Widget:
- In the Xbox Game Bar, find and click on the "Capture" widget. If it's not visible, you can make it appear by clicking on the "Camera" icon or searching in the Widgets menu.
Start Recording:
- To start recording your screen, click the "Record" button (a circle icon) in the "Capture" widget. You can also use the shortcut Windows key + Alt + R.
Stop Recording:
- To stop recording, press the Windows key + Alt + R again, or return to the Xbox Game Bar and press the "Stop" recording button.
Access Your Recordings:
- Your recordings are saved in the "Videos" folder under "Captures".
Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements for using Xbox Game Bar and check that the feature is enabled if you're unable to open it. If your HP device doesn’t support this built-in feature, you might consider third-party screen recording software tailored for more specific needs.
