- how do i turn on my keyboard back light if there is no icon?

hi! i have an issue, so my keyboard does has a back light keyboard button on my keyboard but, it does not have the backlight icon. it only shows the symbol "F5" on the button. i tried pressing F5 and the back light is not turning on? any ideas, or advice? thank you! 🙂

That means your machine does NOT have backlit keyboard. You can confirm this by looking at its specs, what is it ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Ok but, how does finding the name/model help me resolve my back light issue? Could I be the manufacturers forgot to add this feature because I know a normal version of my laptop has this button and is able to turn the backlight on. 😞
