What is your HP enxy x360 convertible 15m-ed 1xx ? It should have SAME ports as the following machine
HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-ed1023dx
The best option for your machine is using an HP USB-C Gen 5 dock. You can connect up to 3 external monitors and using single cable setup.
Regards.

HI, i tried to connect a second external monitor to my laptop through the USB-C port using an HDMI to USB-C converter. I can't get it to recognize the additional monitor. I was reviewing a few of the posts and it looks like the USB-C doesn't support video.
is that right?
if it is, am I able to use an HDMI splitter and use 2 external monitors through the single HDMI port? can I extend the monitors or just duplicate them?
or should/could I use an HDMI splitter to a regular USB port?
thanks JH
