Hi @gpshadow,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
We understand that you're receiving the error "We cannot find your camera0xA00F4244 <No Cameras are Attached>" on your HP 14-inch Laptop PC (Model 730R9AV). Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
1. Confirm the Camera Shutter Is Open
You mentioned your PC has a camera cover. Please:
- Slide the camera shutter open fully on the top bezel of the screen.
- Wait 5–10 seconds, then open the Camera app again.
2. Check Camera Privacy Settings
- Press Windows + I → Open Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Security > Camera.
- Ensure the following are ON:
- Camera access
- Let apps access your camera
- Scroll down and enable access for individual apps like Camera, Zoom, etc.
3. Scan for the Camera in Device Manager
- Press Windows + X, select Device Manager.
- Expand these sections:
- Cameras
- Imaging devices
- Sound, video and game controllers
- If you don’t see a camera:
- Click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
- If the camera appears:
- Right-click → Update Driver.
4. Reinstall Camera Drivers
If nothing shows or you're still getting the error:
- Visit the HP Drivers page:
🔗 HP 14 inch Laptop PC 14-ep0000 (730R9AV) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support - Download and install the camera driver (often listed under "Driver - Camera" or "Realtek/HP Wide Vision Camera").
- Restart your PC after installation.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
