Product: hp 3005pr usb3.0 port replicat
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to hook up the hp 3005pr usb3.0 port replicator to my windows 10 laptop.  The Laptop is NOT an HP laptop.  The site claimed that this port replicator was compatible with windows 10 PCs.  Is that the case or will it only work on an HP laptop?  I have installed the latest drivers from HP, and I have installed the latest display link drivers from displaylink's site.  The laptop doesn't even detect that the port replicator is plugged in.  The machine is running Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit.  Thank you for your help.
