Hi @Subhash_chiru,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you’re having trouble with the camera drivers on your HP Victus 15.6-inch gaming laptop. If your laptop is showing only the "Wide Vision Camera" driver and you’re missing the enhanced camera driver, here are a few steps you can take to address the issue.

Check for Updates

  • Windows Update: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Sometimes, driver updates are included in Windows updates.
  • HP Support Assistant: Open the HP Support Assistant application and check for any updates available for your laptop.

Reinstall Camera Drivers

  • Uninstall Drivers: Open Device Manager (right-click the Start button and select Device Manager), expand the Imaging Devices section, right-click the camera driver, and select Uninstall device. Check the option to delete the driver software for this device.
  • Restart: Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically attempt to reinstall the drivers. If not, you can manually install them.

Download Drivers from HP Support

  • HP Website: Go to the HP Support website and enter your laptop’s model number. Download and install the latest drivers for your camera from the HP website.

Check HP Camera Software

  • HP Camera App: Some HP laptops come with specific HP camera software. Ensure it is installed and updated. You might find it in the Windows Store or on the HP website.

Update Camera Settings

  • Camera Settings: Sometimes, the camera settings can affect driver recognition. Open the Camera app in Windows and check if it’s functioning correctly or if there are settings related to the enhanced features.

Run Hardware Troubleshooter

  • Troubleshoot: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter to detect and fix any issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
