Your computer should work fine with a 2k monitor without any issues. The best way to confirm that is to take it to a nearby computer store and connect a 2k monitor and check whether 2k resolution is supported on the external display.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether you can connect a 2k or a 4k monitor to your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Yes, you can connect a 2k and 4k monitor to the computer. However, whether it can work in 4k resolutions depends on your computer hardware. If you help me with the product number of your computer I can look it up for you.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. The information of my laptop is listed down below:

display name: Interl(R) UHD Graphics

Device type: Full Display Device

Chip Type: Inter(R) UHD Graphics family

Operating system: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19041)

I have searched a lot about whether I can connect to a 2k monitor and get an actual 2k resolution. The answers varies.
