Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have hp pavilion 15 inch laptop I have a little issue and  i searched on internet but found nothing.

I set my power options to "do nothing" when screen is closed for few minutes it shows orange light on left side on hdd icon and after sometime and when i open led it takes sometime to turn on and just show blank screen.

when play music while led closed the music it sometime sopped then start after few seconds.

 

i have 1 ssd as windows and 1 hhd drive for storage.

Remember: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

 

Meanwhile, try the below steps:

  • Open the Control Panel.
  • Click Hardware and Sound.
  • Click Power options or Change power-saving settings.
  • Click the Change when the computer sleeps.  in the left side setting panel . If you wish for the computer to not go into Standby or turn off the screen select Never.

I already tried the steps you gave but it didn't work for me. I also try to advance power options but didn't find anything. the problem still not fixed Ii edited the post and add my product model number.

need some solution

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

 

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

 

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

    Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

     Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

 

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
