Hi,

Just turned my laptop on and the screen is glitching. It sometimes flashes to normal. Can anyone advise me on what is wrong and how much it’d cost to fix?

@Lucyhargy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you boot to BIOS by tapping the F10 key on startup and check whether you are able to duplicate the issue.

Also, try connecting an external monitor to the computer and check whether the display on the external monitor works fine. This will confirm whether the issue is with the display or the video card on the computer.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
