Hi I need help with my laptop for people who have this laptop

When ou flip the laptop to change it to a tablet it disables the keyboard. My laptop has seem to be locked on this setting so when I flip it back the keyboard still does not work. Even when I turn on tablet mode and turn it back off the keyboard still does not work. For ppl who have this laptop when u flip it you get a options to save on the bottom right as a pop up. Now I accidentally click on this option and since then my keyboard has stopped working and I don't know how to in do this. I have tested the keyboard and it works fine and have also done a full factory restore and still has not fixed this. I have no clue how or where this opition and. Setting I have changed is   any ideas

@Phil331,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you click the new "Show the desktop" area at the very far right of the taskbar (tiny semi-transparent rectangle), then click the Tablet button/icon and check whether the keyboard is working.

If you continue facing the issue, I recommend you try the below steps.

  1. Click or tap the Start button
  2. Launch the Settings app
  3. Click or tap on "System"
  4. In the left pane of the screen, scroll down to the bottom until you see "Tablet Mode"
  5. Verify that the toggle is set to off.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
