Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey. On my new laptop, if you look closely, you will notice that the screen flickers a little on it, as if it is pulsing. Or if you turn on the video camera on the phone and look through it, then the screen flickering is clearly visible. When buying pepper, I did not find it, they appeared after updating Windows from the version of Home to Pro. In the settings, the screen refresh rate is 60 Hz. The flickering stops in 2 cases:
1) When there is a rollback to the standard Microsoft VGA driver
2) When the laptop uses 3D graphics (for example, when moving the cursor across the screen, or when Paint 3D is open)

I have installed the latest VGA driver, also updated the BIOS. The problem persisted.

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Please check in BIOS and let me know if the screen flickers

Meantime I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

Hi @KrazyToad .  Thanks for the answer. I downloaded the assistant, clicked on "updates and messages to scan for new updates", but after that nothing came. That is, there are no updates. I have the latest version of the VGA driver on my laptop. Windows 2004 version (OS Build 19041.450). "Please check in BIOS and let me know if the screen flickers" - what exactly to check in BIOS? what do you mean? When I enter the bios, there is no flicker. Flickering starts when I'm already working with Windows

If the issue does not occur in BIOS, then it means the Hardware is working fine

Please download the Intel Driver & Assistant Tool https://www.intel.in/content/www/in/en/support/detect.html
