Product: HP 255 G8 Notebook PC (347S3AV)

Help please! My HP camera works for a couple of secs and then stops, disappears and it never shows in Device Manager.

 

It should be "hp true vision hd camera" but cannot get it to work.

 

I work from home and really need it.

 

HP suggested reformatting the laptop but cannot do without it for hrs if I take it to a repair shop or send it to them. I cannot try because I don't want to make mistakes.

 

Can someone suggest what is the solution to getting the webcam to work?
