@Salvodif80, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

With the HP Victus 16 (or similar models), it’s generally possible to prioritize the dedicated NVIDIA graphics card, but completely disabling the integrated Intel graphics isn’t always an option.

This is because most modern laptops with hybrid graphics rely on the integrated GPU for tasks like display output and power management.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

@Salvodif80, Thank you for getting back to us!

To address your question about disabling the integrated GPU on an HP Victus 16-e0042nl and leaving only the NVIDIA GPU active, typically, this kind of task can be managed through the BIOS settings or via the NVIDIA Control Panel by setting the preferred graphics processor to the NVIDIA GPU. Here are general steps for both methods:

Through BIOS Settings:

  1. Restart your laptop and press Esc or F10 as soon as it starts to enter the BIOS setup.
  2. Look for settings related to Advanced or Video Configuration.
  3. Disable the integrated GPU option if available (options might include selecting the primary GPU).
  4. Save changes and exit the BIOS.

Through NVIDIA Control Panel:

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
  2. Go to Manage 3D settings.
  3. Under the Global Settings tab, you can set the preferred graphics processor to High-performance NVIDIA processor.
  4. Apply the changes.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
