Hi @OhNoItsDedSec ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg0000 series does not come with built-in RGB lighting or customizable backlit keyboard color options. Most HP Pavilion models typically only have a single backlight color, which is usually white. However, you can adjust the brightness or turn the backlight on and off.

Here’s how to control the keyboard backlight settings:

Turn the Backlight On/Off:

  • Press the F5 key (or the key with the backlight icon) to toggle the keyboard backlight on or off.

Adjust Backlight Brightness (if available):

  • Some models allow adjusting brightness. You may need to press F5 repeatedly to switch between brightness levels (off, dim, bright).

If your laptop does not have any RGB or color-changing functionality built into the hardware, there won't be a way to change the keyboard's color. If you're looking for more customization, external RGB keyboards might be an option.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
