@antico, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP laptop's two-finger touchpad gestures (like scrolling or right-clicking) aren't working on Windows 11, here are a few steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Check Touchpad Settings
- Click Start → Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Touchpad.
- Under Gestures & interaction, ensure that Two-finger scrolling and Two-finger tap are enabled.
- Adjust sensitivity if needed.
HP Notebook PCs - Using the touchpad (Windows 11, 10) | HP® Support
Step 2: Restart Touchpad Driver
- Press Windows + X → select Device Manager.
- Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
- Right-click your touchpad device (e.g., Synaptics, ELAN, or HID-compliant touchpad) → click Disable device.
- Wait a few seconds, then right-click again and choose Enable device.
Step 3: Update Touchpad Driver
- In Device Manager, right-click your touchpad device → select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers.
- Alternatively, visit HP’s support site to download the latest drivers for your model.
Step 4: Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
- Turn off your laptop.
- Turn it back on and immediately press Esc repeatedly, then press F2.
- Select Component Tests → Mouse/Touchpad → Run once.
This will help identify any hardware issues.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
