Hi @galivineetha,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand that your integrated camera stopped working after the service center replaced your laptop's broken screen. Since the camera is not appearing in Device Manager, this may indicate that the camera is not being detected by the system.

Please confirm the following:

  • What is the exact HP laptop model and product number?
  • Was the camera working normally before the screen replacement?
  • Did the service center replace the complete display assembly or only the screen panel?
  • Does the camera appear in the BIOS or HP Hardware Diagnostics, if available?

Meanwhile, please try these steps:

1. Check for hidden devices.

  • Right-click the Start button and open Device Manager.
  • Click View > Show hidden devices.
  • Check under Cameras, Imaging Devices, and Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
  • Click Action > Scan for hardware changes.

2. Check Windows camera privacy settings.

  • Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
  • Ensure camera access is enabled.
  • Enable Let apps access your camera.

If the camera is still missing from Device Manager, please avoid installing random camera drivers or opening the laptop yourself, as the issue may require a physical inspection.

Best regards,
Kuroi_Kenshi
