I want interface interactions Haptic Signals on my HP Spectre x360 14-eu000 (7K633AV), which I was supposed to get when it was released in an update, but I did not get it. I have updated everything, including the drivers, to the latest version, but I still don't have it. Can I get it in any way?

Hi @Hayb
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for sharing the details; haptic feedback for interface interactions depends on hardware compatibility and support provided by the system, firmware, and Windows version. Please confirm your current Windows 11 version and OS build by running winver, and specify whether you mean touchpad haptics or haptic signals for general Windows interface interactions. Have you checked the HP Support page for your Spectre x360 14-eu000 (7K633AV) for any BIOS, firmware, or HP-specific utility updates related to this feature? Since you have already updated the drivers, please share whether the feature was explicitly announced for your exact model and, if possible, provide the announcement or update link so we can determine whether it can be enabled or requires a future update.
Take care and have an amazing day!

Hi @Hayb
Thank you for clarifying that you are referring to haptic signals from the touchpad during general Windows 11 interface interactions, rather than application-specific feedback.
The HP Spectre x360 14-eu000 (7K633AV) features a haptic touchpad, as described in HP's Maintenance and Service Guide. However, the availability of haptic feedback across general Windows interface interactions depends on Windows functionality, touchpad drivers, and device implementation.
Please refer to the official HP Maintenance and Service Guide for information about the touchpad hardware. At present, I could not verify an official HP document confirming support for system-wide haptic signals across all Windows 11 interface interactions.
Could you clarify which specific Windows interactions you expect to trigger haptic feedback, such as clicking buttons, opening menus, or navigating system settings? This will help determine whether the expected behavior is supported on your device.
Check the touchpad settings
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Navigate to Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.
- Expand the Taps section and review the available options.
- Check whether any haptic feedback, vibration, or touchpad feedback options are available.
- If no such option appears, proceed to the next step.
Check Windows accessibility and feedback settings
- Open Settings > Accessibility.
- Review the available touch and interaction settings.
- Open Settings > System > Notifications and review the available notification options.
- Remember that these settings do not necessarily enable haptic feedback for general Windows interface interactions; they are included to help rule out related configuration options.
Install available Windows updates
- Open Settings > Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates and install applicable updates.
- Navigate to Advanced options > Optional updates.
- Check for available touchpad, system-device, or firmware updates.
- Restart the laptop if prompted.
Check the touchpad driver
- Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Expand Human Interface Devices and Mice and other pointing devices.
- Locate the touchpad-related device.
- Right-click it and select Properties.
- Under the Driver tab, note the driver provider, version, and date.
- Visit the official HP Support website and identify your product using its model or product number.
- Check the available driver and firmware downloads for your specific model and Windows version. Install only applicable HP-provided updates.

Have a good day.

I am referring to Haptic signals, where you feel subtle vibrations when you snap windows, align objects, and more.
The driver provider is ELAN, the driver date is 2/23/2024, and the driver version is 41.2.1.3. I do have Haptic click, where I feel a click when I press the touchpad in Settings, and it is on and working.
