Hi @Raushan25_05,

If the camera on your HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk10000 laptop stopped working after an update, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the issue:

  1. Check Camera Privacy Settings:

    • Ensure that your camera is not disabled by privacy settings. Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera and make sure that camera access for this device is turned on.
  2. Update the Camera Driver:

    • Open Device Manager by searching for it in the Start menu.
    • Expand the Cameras section, right-click on your camera device, and select Update driver. Choose to search automatically for updated driver software.
  3. Rollback the Driver:

    • If the issue began after a recent update, you might try rolling back to the previous driver version. In Device Manager, right-click on your camera, select Properties, navigate to the Driver tab, and if available, click on Roll Back Driver.
  4. Reinstall the Camera Driver:

    • Uninstall the camera driver from Device Manager by right-clicking the camera and selecting Uninstall device. Restart your laptop, which should automatically reinstall the driver.
  5. Check for Windows and HP Updates:

    • Ensure your system is up to date with the latest Windows updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
    • Also, use the HP Support Assistant to check for any new driver or firmware updates specific to your laptop.
  6. Test with the Camera App:

    • Open the Camera app from the Start menu to see if it provides any error message or additional diagnostics information.
  7. Hardware Issues:

    • If the above steps do not resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem with the camera. In such a scenario, consider contacting HP Customer Support or visiting an authorized service center for further assistance.
