I have a x360 touch pavillion. After using it in tablet mode, the touchpad and keyboard no longer work. The laptop is only about a month old. The computer is up to date on all drivers. I also uninstalled the driver and reinstalled the driver for the touchpad. No luck. Any ideas what is causing this?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the keyboard and the touchpad are not working after using the computer in tablet mode.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
Is the computer still in tablet mode?
The keyboard and touchpad do not work in the tablet mode and it is by design. You need to switch to the desktop mode for the keyboard and the touchpad to start working.
In case if you are already in the desktop mode and the touchpad and the keyboard are not working, then I recommend you switch to the tablet mode and switch back to desktop mode and test.
If you continue facing the issue, then install all the Windows updates and check.
Here is how it is done.
- Select the Start (Windows) button from the bottom-left corner.
- Go to settings (gear icon).
- Select the Update and Security icon.
- Choose Windows Update tab in the sidebar (Circular arrows)
- Select Check for updates. If there is an available update, it will begin downloading automatically.
