When opening my laptop I noticed that a clicking sound was made and noticed that the plastic keyboard cover had pushed up. It was then that i noticed a tiny break in the plastic above the USB port. The left hinge is also slightly loose compared to the right hinge. However, my laptop has not been dropped or damaged so I don't know why or how this has happened. My warranty with hp expired less than a month ago but it was in no way my fault for the damage. Can this be fixed and will I need to pay?

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
