Product: HP Notebook 15s-fq1085tu
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
hi, I recently bought a new monitor with a refresh rate of 240hz, however when I connect it to my laptop, the max refresh rate my laptop allows is 120hz. I was wondering if my laptop is too weak to support the 240hz refresh rate, or if I need to find and change the settings of the monitor.

I can NOT find its specs
https://support.hp.com/ie-en/product/product-specs/hp-15-f1000-laptop-pc-series/model/34861718
How to you connect to external monitor ? It ONLY has High-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) v.1.4b supporting up to 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz.
Regards.
