is there a way to disable AMD freesync? or is this technology something dependent on the AMD card on external source which is connected to display(enabled at the time of build)?

i tried connecting the monitor to my pS5 to get 144hz refresh rate but i am getting the expected result

can someone please help me in understanding the issue here and what would be the best way to get the maximum refresh rate over a PS5 ?
