Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. After the last update to Win 10, I have the 2 problems.

1) mouse pointer is continuously in the background.

2) the led of the volume on / off button is always without light.

I have updated all the drivers but I have not solved. In "safe mode" the 1st problem does NOT appear.

I also used HP support Assistan without solving. Can someone gime me advice?

Thank you, ciao.

Probably I explained myself badly: the cursor is visible; the problem is that it "turns" continuously in "background".

Now I'm trying to disable some "services" to identify the problem.

Thanks for your help.2018-02-22_23-35-26.jpg

I think you need to start hunting for a more later version of driver for you graphics card. There are several different versions used in various dv6s, so you just need to search for the one you have. You need to search for the OEM ones as HP is not supporting Windows 10 on these machines.

As for the button driver, I don't know if there is a compatible version available, maybe someone else does.

Drivers are all updated, verified on Intel and Amd. Unfortunately, the problem remains. Thanks bye.2018-02-22_16-22-09.jpgscheda_video.jpg

Seems people are having driver issues as well:

Seems you are in a better shape because you have a display at least.

What happens if you enable the mouse trail in the additional mouse options? If you can see the trail when you move the mouse, it should make it a bit easier until you find a solution. And does the pointer show if you enable the 'show pointer when I press CTRL'?
