Product: HP EliteBook 840 G5 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Just bought this used hp elitebook 840 G5 8550 i7. It has a multitouch precision touchpad, also called "clickpad'? The cursor stalls every 1 to 3 seconds, stalls for about 1 or 2 seconds, then I can move it again. I've tried available adjustments but it does not help. I am not familiar with this touchpad and not tech savvy enough to trouble shoot extensively but think this is a software problem? BTW: when I attach a BT mouse, the cursor works normal, no stalling. Also, prior owner just installed a new SSD and windows 10 pro. Would greatly appreciate any help to resolve this.
