HP laptop 14-dk1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My product name is HP laptop 14-dk1xxx

The product number is- 9xm12ua#ABA

The problem is that every time my kid goes to play flash games, the entire laptop freezes and then shuts itself down.

I have downloaded the latest adobe flash. Updated the video card from Radeon. Tried the virtual HP assistant which didn't help at all. Laptop is still in warranty and was working perfectly up until about a week ago. Now it constantly blue screens any time she plays a flash game. Please help.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is freezing and shutting down when you play flash games.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What browser are you using to play flash games?

Have you tried different browsers?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105804.exe

Graphics: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp104001-104500/sp104306.exe (For Windows Version 2004)

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I did the BIOS update and now my laptop is showing an error message for mcafee. Seems like its just getting worse with every step someone recommends. o.O

What is the exact error you are getting from McAfee? Meanwhile, I recommend you perform a system test on the computer following the steps in the below article.
