@Tausif1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Yellow Tint on Laptop Screen!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your new laptop screen is showing a yellow tint on one side, it could be due to a few reasons, such as software settings, display calibration, or potential hardware issues. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and possibly fix the issue:

1. Software Calibration and Settings:

  • Check Night Light Settings: If you are using Windows, sometimes the "Night Light" feature can cause a yellowish tint on the screen. To check, go to Settings -> System -> Display and turn off Night Light if it's enabled.
  • Color Calibration: Open Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Display -> Calibrate Color. Follow the on-screen instructions to recalibrate your display settings.

2. Driver Updates:

  • Update Display Drivers: Outdated drivers can cause display issues. Use the Device Manager to update the display drivers:
    • Right-click on the Start Menu and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display adapters, right-click on your display adapter, and select Update driver.

3. Hardware Check:

  • Connect to External Monitor: Connect your laptop to an external monitor to check if the yellow tint appears on it as well. If it doesn't, the issue might be with the laptop's screen hardware.
  • Physical Inspection: Check if there are any visible damages or pressure marks on the screen.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
