hp model 15-bs134wm
ok so in the beginning the screen on my laptop was only playing the top half. the bottom half was black and they were seperated by a perfect line straight across the middle. a couple weeks later the entire screen goes black on me. i then used the hdmi port to watch my tv from it. It worked perfect, so i looked up a fix for it and tryd to start it in safe mode. as soon as i tried safe mode, teh hdmi stopped working and my screen remained black so im basically blind from here on. ive tryd a hard restart. ive tried entering bios still nothing worked. now today i just noticed my caps on light is blinking 4 times repetively.

Hi @Jocko43,
Welcome to the HP support community.
We understand you're experiencing a blank screen issue with your HP 15-bs134wm laptop, where initially only the top half of the screen displayed content, later progressing to full black, and now you’re observing 4 Caps Lock blinks repeating in a cycle, with no HDMI output after attempting Safe Mode.
The 4-blink Caps Lock error on HP notebooks indicates a graphics system failure. In your case, this confirms that the issue is related to the integrated GPU or video controller on the system board.
Please help us with your HP unit serial number or the product number in a private message for further assistance.
