Hi @TheRealAzari

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the touch screen of your HP Spectre x360 Convertible PC - 15-bl112dx is not working,

Please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary system issues.

Clean the Screen: Ensure that the screen is clean and free of any dirt or debris, which might affect the touch functionality.

Update Drivers:

  • Go to Device Manager by pressing Windows + X and selecting it.
  • Expand the Human Interface Devices section.
  • Locate HID-compliant touch screen, right-click it, and choose Update driver.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to search and install any available updates.

Enable Touch Screen:

  • In the Device Manager, right-click on the HID-compliant touch screen.
  • Ensure it is enabled. If not, click Enable device.

Calibrate the Touch Screen:

  • Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Tablet PC Settings.
  • On the Display tab, click Calibrate.
  • Follow the instructions to calibrate the touch screen.

Run Hardware Troubleshooter:

  • Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  • Select Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter.

BIOS and Firmware Update:

  • Go to the HP Customer Support site and check for the latest BIOS and firmware updates for your model.
  • Download and install any updates available for your device.

Perform a System Restore:

  • If the issue started after a recent update or change, you can try to restore the system to a previous point when the touch screen was working fine.
  • Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System > System Protection.
  • Click on System Restore, follow the instructions, and select a restore point.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Regards,
