Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi,after upgrading windows 10 to 1903 version,my screen turns black when the AMD graphic is enabled.my labtob has two graphics including intel hd 3000 and AMD Radeon 6900 (previously shown as 7690M XT 2GB DDR5 dedicated). in safe mode when I disable the AMD driver the system works properly but when I enable this graphic it crashes and I should disable it again.

therefore switchable graphics does not work and my pc is running in low graphic condition. please support your products because windows is not going to support windows 7 anymore and this is a major problem for your customers that you stop supporting their pcs. I tested everything including windows 7 and 8 drivers one by one and even drivers for windows 10 in AMD website and nothing worked. so what should I do? downgrade to windows 7 that is not supported anymore with security issues urged by microsoft or use windows 10 with the lowest graphic display situation? I serched everywhere and nothing helped, any help would be very appreciated my friends. Thanks

@amz021 Since the GPU's are designed to switch as per system settings, we do not suggest turning it off, that said, if one of the two cards is crashing, I suggest we run an extensive hardware test to identify any hardware issues with the same:

Install the latest version of the HP Hardware diagnostics (UEFI) on your device using this link: Click here for details

  • Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  • Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
  • On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
  • Click Extensive Test.
  • Click Run once, or Loop until error.
  • While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.

If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.
