 keep getting this error there is no key that locks my camera. When i check device manager there is no camera listed or on imaging or video? There is a camera on my note book. I have reset app and reset computer and turned on all access for apps. Help me please.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

Firstly, Look for the Kill Switch:

Next step: Try a hard reset:

When Windows doesn’t see devices like cameras, sometimes it just needs to be forced to look again.  Try a power reset. If the issue persists, follow the next steps from here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03430151
