Hi,
I use a HP Pavilion 15-p001tx Notebook PC. I have lately realised that the laptop is a bit slow and when diagnosed and troubleshooted, i came to find that the nvidia control panel is missing and along with it the nvidia graphic card is not recognised by the device manager as well. it only displays the Intel integrated graphic card.
I have tried downloading the driver from the HP website for this device and also from the nvidia source and when i install the drivers i get error as "not compatible nvidia hardware is not found".
I have done the component test from the boot menu and everything seems to be working fine in terms of hardware.
Inside device manager and direct x dialog both the sides it shows intel graphics only.
i have tried enabling and viewing hidden items there still no good.
when i go into "geforce experience" application. it shows the driver is up to date though. also when i go to control panel and try launching nvidia control panel it does not launch anything.
Product Number : G8D90PA
Serial Number : [edited]
still i am facing this issue.
Is there a solution to this ?

Your machine came with Windows 8.1. Please use the following driver for Windows 10
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72048.exe
Regards.
