hello, i have an hp laptop 15 -da1016ny intel core i5 8265u cpu @1.60 ghz, 1800mhz with nvidia geforce mx110 and intel uhd 620 integrated graphics card . When playing games and when i activate both graphics card, i get above 60frame rates per second for just 1minute or less then the fps drop drastically to around 20fps and below and then the game stutters the whole time . When i disable the nvidia mx110 graphics in the device manager and only use the intel uhd graphics card while playing games, i get fair fps at around 40 fps and the game is atleast playable. I have tried updating my graphics drivers severally but this problem still continues upto date. The game in question is euro truck simulator which is not a very demanding game. I currently use the latest intel drivers and nvidia mx 110 drivers but the problem is still there, my laptop is fairly brand new just 5 months and it has had this problem since the first day. kindly help.

Hi@MUTUAKEVING, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Apologize for the issue with the display. We understand it's a new notebook lets try a few troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.
Check BIOS update?
Check Windows update?
Tried Adding the game to High performances in the Nivida control panel?
Download GEFORCE EXPERIENCE updates the gaming drivers.
Turn on Game Mode. Game Mode is a new feature in Windows 10 Update that improves gaming performance by limiting background processes and programs from using system resources while a game is running.
Press the Windows key and G to open the Game bar.
In the game bar, click Settings.
Click the check box next to the game title to enable Game Mode for that game.
Plug notebook PCs into an AC adapter to give the graphics card more power.

Dear team,
Thank you for your response.
i checked the bios , it said its up to date, i then ran windows update until there was nothing to update, in the nvidia control panel i kept maximum settings for NVidia e.g. putting ''maximum performance'' , i then downloaded NVidia GeForce experience which came with latest graphics drivers, i Turned on Game Mode and i played while plugged in power but the problem is still there,,,,

Hi@MUTUAKEVING,
We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to checked taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.
I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
