Welcome to the HP Community --

Discover which exact computer model you have and then check the service manual for a compatible pen.

If there is no pen / stylus listed in the service manual, your model does not likely support a pen.

What?  Not all computers with a touchscreen support an active stylus.

First,

Find the exact model name / product number of your computer.

Next,

Open the Home Page / Support Website for your computer:

 Printer Product Home

Enter the device type and model name of your HP product

Next,

Open Category Setup and User Guides

Next,

Find and open the Maintenance and Service manual for your machine.

The name might be "Maintenance and Service Guide" or a longer name.

Next,

Search the document for the word "Pen "  (word + a space after it)

Search the document for "stylus"

If there is a compatible HP pen / stylus for your computer, it will be listed in the document.

What if?

Capacitive / Passive pen is not the same thing as an active stylus, of course.
