Hello, I want to share how I fixed the touch screen issue on my laptop.

First, I checked if the touch screen was damaged. I downloaded the Ubuntu operating system to test if it worked there, and since the touch screen worked correctly on that OS, I decided to do the following:
I installed Windows 8.1 on my laptop since that was the version I had previously, and everything worked fine. I was surprised that the touch screen worked, but some applications and games didn't work on that version of Windows. I resigned myself to switching back to Windows 10, but I did it using the upgrade tool provided by Microsoft. By some magic, the touch screen started working again, and everything has been fine ever since.
I did this after trying everything suggested on forums and YouTube videos. I hope this helps.
