replacement screen

Looking for a replacement screen for my laptop : 17-cp0056nr

PartSurfer has part number M51679-001, but is unavailable.

What options do I have ? Can i  use a non touch-screen display  (my current one is touch-screen) ?

That is a good question, and I believe there is at least a less expensive display option as seen here (HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cp0000 IDS Base Model): HP PartSurfer

Mind you, for 'legacy' HP parts, eBay is often the best (and only) option.  Here are eBay purchase options for p/n: M51680-001: HP M51680-001 for sale | eBay.

There are no eBay purchase options for the other part numbers.

Yes, that should work: "instead of an "HD" (high definition", the screen you referenced is an "FHD" (full high definition).
