Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

I see that the display resolution drops from 1920 X 1080 to 1536x864 when its set to 1920 X 1080, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Does it happen while playing games or watching movies?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • What happens when display resolutions drop from 1920 x 1080?

While you respond to that, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:

The simple solution is to go back to the screen resolution display change from right-clicking on your desktop and select "Make Text and Other items smaller or larger" and set the scale from 125% to 100%

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
