running an hp 24m monitor with windows 11

The board and category  I picked is not related to the problem because there are no boards/categories  available for HP monitor issues.   I just bought an HP 24m monitor.  It will not run on my laptop with windows11, but it will run on another laptop with windows10.   Apparently HP does not support this monitor for windows11.  Is there any workaround?  I don't want to return the monitor if I can avoid it,

I think you know the answer already -- as there is nothing you can do to FORCE it to work.

Monitor are just "dumb" electronic parts that don't even use drivers; they work or they do not.

I have several PCs that I upgraded to Win11, including laptops, and ALL the monitors work just fine, even some that are over 10 years old!

To, this would surprise me too if it did not work on Win11.

This is extremely disappointing as I have the same problem except I'm connected to a brand new Dell desktop. The monitor works but the quality is terrible. I have searched throughout HP, and Amazon even tried to help (I bought it through them), and there is apparently no solution.
