Product: pavillion notebook

i am unable to make the screen brighter. the brightness keys do not respond and there is no sliding brightness bar anywhere on the computer software/ help please.

Did you upgrade/downgrade your machine ? What EXACTLY is your computer ? Please download and install

 

    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp85001-85500/sp85423.exe

 

If no result, please post what EXACTLY is your computer back also what is its OS now.

 

Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
