@swati212, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds frustrating to deal with a blinking screen on your HP notebook. Since you're using Windows 11, here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue:

Check for Loose Display Connections

  • If it's a detachable or convertible laptop, gently adjust the screen angle or reconnect the display if possible.
  • If you're comfortable, check the internal display cable (only if you're experienced with hardware).

Boot into Safe Mode

  • Restart your laptop and press Shift + F8 or hold Shift while clicking "Restart".
  • Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • Select Safe Mode.
  • If the blinking stops in Safe Mode, it's likely a driver or software issue.

Update or Roll Back Display Drivers

  • Press Win + XDevice ManagerDisplay adapters.
  • Right-click your graphics driver (e.g., Intel, AMD, NVIDIA) → Update driver.
  • If the issue started after a recent update, try Roll back driver instead.

Disable Hardware Acceleration

  • Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings.
  • Turn off Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.
  • Also, disable hardware acceleration in browsers or apps like Chrome or Edge.

Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

  • Restart your laptop and press Esc repeatedly, then F2 to enter HP Diagnostics.
  • Run a Display Test to check for hardware issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
