Hi @PRAJOTH,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk0050tx laptop is experiencing screen flickering, and you've already tried standard troubleshooting steps, we can narrow it down to either driver/software issues or a hardware fault.
Here’s how to break it down and identify the cause:
Step 1: Isolate the Cause with Task Manager
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- If Task Manager flickers, it’s likely a graphics driver or hardware issue.
- If Task Manager does not flicker but the rest of the screen does, it’s likely a software conflict.
Step 2: Update or Reinstall Display Drivers
Even if you’ve updated drivers, it’s worth doing a clean reinstall:
- Uninstall the Graphics Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager → Expand Display adapters.
- Right-click both Intel UHD Graphics and NVIDIA GTX 1650 (or your dedicated GPU).
- Click Uninstall device, check Delete the driver software, then reboot.
Step 3: External Monitor Test
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV via HDMI.
- If the external display flickers too → it’s likely a GPU or driver issue.
- If only the laptop screen flickers → it's likely a faulty display cable, screen, or inverter.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
