Hi @chandu_18,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The screen flickering you're experiencing is likely due to driver compatibility issues between your laptop's hardware (especially graphics) and Windows 11. Since the Pavilion 15-cs3006tx was originally designed for Windows 10, Windows 11 drivers may not be officially listed on HP’s support page, but there are still ways to resolve this.

1. Update Graphics Drivers Manually

Even if HP doesn’t list Windows 11 drivers, you can still install the latest compatible drivers directly from the GPU manufacturer:

  • Intel Graphics:
    • Go to Intel Driver & Support Assistant
    • Download and install the latest Intel UHD or Iris graphics driver.
  • NVIDIA (if applicable):
    • Visit NVIDIA Driver Downloads
    • Select your GPU model and download the latest Windows 11 driver.

2. Change Display Refresh Rate

Sometimes Windows 11 sets a refresh rate that causes flickering:

  • Go to Settings > System > Display > Advanced display.
  • Under Refresh rate, try setting it to 60 Hz (or the native rate of your display).

3. Disable Hardware Acceleration (Temporary Workaround)

Some apps (like browsers or Office) can cause flickering:

  • In Chrome or Edge:
Settings > System > Disable "Use hardware acceleration when available"
  • Restart the app.

4. Reset Graphics Driver (Quick Fix)

If the screen flickers again:

  • Press Ctrl + Windows + Shift + B
This resets the graphics driver without rebooting.

5. BIOS Update (Optional but Recommended)

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
