after i updated my windows, i got a green horizontal line. I reverted the update but problem persisted. I took it to service in HP world shop. The technician opened my screen to check model number and when from then there's lot of flickering that nothing is visible properly.
We tried to replace the screen but surprisingly even with the new 1920x1080 screen problem persists, but with a lower resolution screen 1344x768 it is working properly! They also tried replacing the display wire but still problem is not solved.
Is there any hp service centre in hyderabad, India.

I understand your concerns.
In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.
Or you can contact the local service center for repair.
Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
Have a nice day!!

@Sree_Ram Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that the screen is flickering.
If you haven't, Please try an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure,
if the issue does not appear on the alternate monitor, you may need to replace the display assembly on your computer,
if the issue appears on the alternate monitor/TV as well, re-install the graphics card drivers & update it from the official HP Website: Click here
If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS)
If the issue does not appear in BIOS, reinstall the graphics card drivers & update BIOS using the above link,
If it does, you may need to replace the LCD/Repair the computer:
If the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, liquid spilled on it, etc.) there could be a hardware failure and in such cases, you may need to get the computer repaired via HP (there could be a charge involved if the PC isn't covered by the accidental damage protection plan)
Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Hello praveen, thank you for your reply.
I have already checked what you suggested, the flickering didn't appear on my tv when I connected through hdmi cable; it did appear even I'm BIOS.
From 5 months my laptop is stationary on my computer table, I didn't even move it.
I went for screen replacement to HP world, but the problem is even with the new screen the flickering is persistent! But surprisingly there's no flickering when a lower resolution screen is connected instead of my current 1920x1080 resolution screen.
The technician tried with multiple screens, and even tried changing the display wire.
I tried updating all drivers, windows to latest versions and even tried to revert them to old versions.
Please help us figure out what else can cause this problem.
