Operating System: Linux

I have a hp Pavilion 15cs3xxx

BIOS Revision F.05

Serial Nr [personal info removed]

My OS is Linux

I have ocasional screen flickering and don't know what to do.  I have tried Kernel downgrade, upgrade and screen resolution change; and nothing helps. It just starts ramdomly .

Can you please help?

It semms a BIOS upgrade is not possible from Linux. That seems to be the issue. BIOS upgrades are thought to be exclusively for Windows Users  am I right?
