HP Pavilion - 15-cs3028nl
Microsoft Windows 11

since the end of december 2022 very time I boot up my notebook, the screen starts flickering as soon as I unlock the pc with the pin (I don't remember if this problem appeared once I've installed a new windows update). the flickering continue for few seconds until the screen become totally black and when i start moving the mouse cursor around the desktop, the flicker alternate with screen blackening. if I restart the notebook from the windows menu, after the reboot, the pc starts working normally with no problems.

i've already installed every windows update, graphic driver update and started the hp pc hardware diagnostics: no one of theese thing solved the problem.

Hi @giacomo9876,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing display issues with your HP Pavilion - 15-Cs3028nl.

Please follow the steps listed below for BIOS recovery:

1. Turn off the computer and keep the power adapter plugged in.

2. Press and hold the Windows key and the B key at the same time, and then press and hold the power button for 2 to 3 seconds.

3. Release the Power button but continue pressing the Windows and B keys. You might hear a series of beeps.

4. The HP BIOS Update screen displays, and the recovery begins automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts to continue the start up to complete the recovery.

Hi, I've updated the bios following the instructions on the screen, then I've been showed the screen "choose an option: use a device - problem solving - turn off the pc", I've clicked on turn off and after the boot up it compared the screen attached in files. How do I have to continue? Thanks
