HP Notebook 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the HP Laptop 15-dy1751ms  and I've had it for a year. A couple months ago the display would go black intermittently especially when it moves too much/lifted from a table. The laptop couldn't easily be turned on again and the screen would stay black. After a few months, even when sitting on a stable surface it began to have the same issues. Then, the screen just wouldn't turn on. The caps lock button light blinks and I can hear the fan but screen isn't on. I hooked it up to an external monitor however, it didn't show any output. I took it to a repair guy who didn't have much time to look at it and he took out one of the RAM sticks saying that the slot was bad. That fixed the problem for a bit however it when I lifted it and set it down the screen flashed in a crazy checkerboard pattern. Anyone with similar problems?
